Where Turkish furniture actually goes
Türkiye exported $4,583m of furniture in 2025, up 2% on 2024. The order of the markets is not the one most buyers expect: Iraq is first and growing, Germany is second and flat, and the United Kingdom fell 5%. Set the money against the number of firms selling into each market and you get the more useful picture — which lanes are crowded, and which are carried by a handful of exporters.

Four things the table says
The growth is not in western Europe. Jordan is up 154% on 2024, Czechia 38%, Poland 29%, Georgia 25% and Belgium 21%. The three largest western markets — Germany, France, the Netherlands — moved by 3% or less between them. A supplier search aimed at growth and a supplier search aimed at volume do not return the same firms.
Iraq is the market Turkish factories know best, at $661m and rising, which is a lorry-and-relationship trade rather than a container-and-tender one. 1,268 firms in the index sell into it — the deepest bench on the list, and the reason a Baghdad or Erbil buyer gets a different quality of answer from a Turkish factory than a first-time European buyer does.
The UK is shrinking while its bench stays deep. Exports fell 5% to $161m, and this index still holds 1,221 firms selling there. A market falling in value with that many suppliers in it is a buyer's market, and the thing to ask about is who already tests to the UK fire regulations.
The Gulf moves both ways. Saudi Arabia is down 14% and the United Arab Emirates down 24%, while Jordan more than doubled. Anyone reading "the Gulf" as one market is averaging two different stories.
What this does not tell you
Money by country says nothing about who inside a market bought it — a container of retail bedroom ranges and a hotel FF&E package land in the same line. It also says nothing about capability: breadth of markets tracks corporate scope rather than fitness for a contract order. Use the table to choose where to look, then the rosters to see who is there, then the checks to see whether they are real.
